Quantum Communication

Our quantum communication program focuses on optical and photonic tools for secure information transfer and distributed quantum technologies. We study both free-space and fiber-based platforms with an emphasis on practicality, robustness, and scalability.

The group investigates entangled photon generation, high-dimensional encoding, and channel characterization under realistic propagation conditions. We also explore how machine learning can improve channel monitoring and adaptation, helping move toward reliable long-range quantum networks.
