The second QWorld Annual Meeting brought together participants from around the world to discuss the growth and coordination of the QWorld network.

Chairperson Paweł Góra opened the meeting by outlining three core priorities: presenting QWorld and its regional “QWorld Cousins,” exploring opportunities for quantum initiatives, and deepening community integration.

Key Themes

Across the two-day programme, active QWorld Cousins presented regional work and invited speakers addressed quantum AI and opportunities for women in quantum.

Discussions also introduced QNextGen, a platform designed for young researchers to:

  • present new ideas,
  • engage with high-level research,
  • contribute to discussions across quantum computing, AI, quantum NLP, and physics.

Breakout sessions focused on workshop planning, sharing operational strategies, and identifying ways to strengthen network-level coordination.

Looking Forward

The meeting reaffirmed QWorld’s emphasis on education, internships, and open collaboration through mentorship and distributed training initiatives.

As the network grows, QWorld continues to serve as a global hub for learning, connection, and the long-term development of the quantum ecosystem.
